What is the Diocese doing?

Changing the ways we move around
  • Developed a Travel Plan for Old Deanery Staff.
  • Audited travel by senior staff, and now looking at eco-driving, vehicle/engine size, journey-sharing or travelling in different ways.
  • Introduced personal travel plans.
  • Puchased a Diocesan bike for local use by staff.
  • Promote travel by public transport to Diocesan meetings.
  • Kept Car-free Day on 22 September 2009, holding a picnic in the car-park.
  • A few staff have been involved in pilot tele-conferencing meetings.
